Housing is community.

Stable housing helps people put down roots, stay connected, work, age in place, and build stronger communities.

Housing NOW is about more than homeshare. It’s about connecting people to practical local housing solutions.

🏡 What does home mean to you?

Housing Now is excited to join Wisdom Wednesday tomorrow, September 9th, for a conversation about homes, memories, community, and the possibilities of homesharing.

We’ll share favourite home memories, explore how homesharing can create companionship and mutual support, and hear a real-life homesharing story — with plenty of time for questions and conversation.

At the Saturna Community Hall.

Come for the lunch, stay for the conversation. We’d love to see you there!

Staying home shouldn’t mean facing rising costs alone.

For some seniors, Homeshare can offer a way to stay independent and connected while bringing in extra income - and helping someone else find a stable place to live.

Housing NOW is here to help you explore whether Homeshare could be right for you. No pressure. Just information, support, and a safe place to start.

A safe and stable home can make a meaningful difference in a household’s ability to keep up with everyday costs.

When rent and housing expenses take up more of the household budget, there may be less left for groceries, utilities, and other essentials. These pressures can affect workers, families, seniors, and neighbours in every community.

Housing security is about more than having a roof over your head — it helps build healthier, more resilient communities.
