Our hearts are full of gratitude after an unforgettable Remote Bowls of Hope on Pender Island. What a beautiful evening of connection, generosity, and community spirit!

The warmth and enthusiasm of the Pender Island community created an atmosphere of belonging and hope that perfectly reflects the values we strive to uphold in supporting youth.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the evening possible:

🍲 Our talented soup providers from Poet’s Cove Resort & Spa, Southridge Country Store, Truss Farm Food, and the Ukrainian Cultural Center for preparing delicious soups that nourished both body and soul.

🍞 Barry’s Bees for the wonderful bread that complemented each bowl.

🌸 Pender Petals and Paws for the beautiful floral arrangements that added warmth and charm to the evening.

🎶 Our incredible musicians, including The Young Violins, Levi & Bill, Grace & Isamay, and The Dip, whose performances brought joy and energy to the event.

🎶 Celebrating Our Incredible Musicians at Remote Bowls of Hope

We’re so excited to showcase the amazing local talent who will be performing at this year’s Remote Bowls of Hope on Pender Island! Each performance reflects the spirit of community, creativity, and youth empowerment that makes this event so special. 💛

⭐ Levi & Bill
Levi Smith is a nine-year-old musician who began playing guitar just a few months ago and is already developing an impressive sense of rhythm and technique, including fingerpicking. Tonight marks his very first live performance! His teacher and mentor, Bill Heintz, has been inspired by Levi’s natural ability and dedication to practice. Please join us in warmly welcoming Levi and Bill as Levi takes the stage for this exciting milestone.

⭐ Grace & Isamay
Grace and Isamay have been taking piano lessons with Sabrina Read for many years. From their early beginnings, they’ve grown through dedication and a genuine love of music. Their hard work has shaped them into confident pianists and thoughtful young people. We’re so glad to have them here tonight—please join us in welcoming Grace and Isamay.

⭐ The Dip
Formed in the summer of 2023 at a Pender Island band camp, The Dip came together through a shared love of music. They enjoy performing cover songs from the ’70s and ’80s, and tonight they’ll be debuting their very first original piece! The band features Isamay on vocals, Liam on bass, Faisal and Syd on guitar, Koda on piano, and Kieran on drums. Let’s give a warm welcome to The Dip!
