Rideau-Ottawa Valley Learning Network ROVLN supports adult literacy and learning in Ottawa and the counties of Renfrew, Lanark & Prescott-Russell. ROVLN has served the community since 1984.

Rideau-Ottawa Valley Learning Network supports, promotes and strengthens adult literacy and learning services in Ottawa through communication, research and public education. ROVLN is one of 16 regional learning networks in Ontario and is part of the Employment Ontario employment and training network. We provide :
• information and referral services
• professional development for literacy instructo

rs
• resource development
• community service planning and
• outreach

In order to address gaps in service ROVLN builds partnerships with organizations such as Ontario Works. We serve prospective adult learners and volunteers, the learners, staff and volunteers of Literacy and Basic Skills/Academic Upgrading (LBS/AU) agencies and members of the general public.

The mental health issues related to our quarantine and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression. Financial challenges, loss of employment, isolation, living in constant fear and trying to keep yourself healthy mentally and physically.
