TiE Ottawa Open Mic: Entrepreneurs Showcasing their ventures

What are TiE Ottawa entrepreneurs building? What challenges are they solving? And where could the right connection, introduction, or advice help move their ventures forward?

On August 25, TiE Ottawa is introducing Open Mic, an exciting Open format that puts entrepreneurs and their ventures at the centre of the evening.

Join us to hear directly from entrepreneurs as they share what they are building, their entrepreneurial journey, the opportunities ahead, and where they could use the support of the community. It is also a great opportunity to meet founders, mentors, executives, service providers, and others who support Ottawa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Whether you are an entrepreneur yourself or simply interested in entrepreneurship, everyone is welcome to attend. Come discover fresh ideas, meet the people behind them, and make connections that could lead to customers, partnerships, advice, investment, or new opportunities.

Want to Take the Mic?

Open Mic presentations are available exclusively to TiE Ottawa members. If you have a venture or idea you would like to share, you are welcome to become a TiE Ottawa member and request a presentation slot.

To participate, email [email protected] with a brief description of your venture. Presentation slots are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

At TiE Ottawa, we believe strong entrepreneurial communities are built when people come together to share, connect, learn, and help one another succeed. We look forward to seeing you there.

TiE Ottawa is delighted to invite you to an insightful discussion on one of the defining challenges of our time: leading and building successful organizations in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

As artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, robotics, and connected technologies continue to reshape industries at an unprecedented rate, organizations face a critical question: how do leaders create teams that can thrive in a rapidly changing world? While technology is accelerating transformation, the true competitive advantage remains people.

Traditional leadership approaches were designed for environments characterized by stability and predictability. Today’s leaders, however, must foster innovation, adaptability, and resilience while guiding their organizations through constant disruption and change.

Join us on June 23rd as David Perry shares valuable insights on attracting, developing, and retaining the talent needed to succeed in an Industry 4.0 economy. Through practical examples and proven strategies, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how leadership must evolve to meet the demands of the future.

This event is ideal for entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, and emerging leaders seeking to better understand the human side of technological transformation and what it takes to build high-performing organizations in an era of continuous change.

TiE Ottawa is pleased to announce a thought-provoking discussion on one of the most important challenges facing entrepreneurs and business leaders today: how to lead and build organizations in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, robotics, and connected technologies are transforming industries at an unprecedented pace. While technology is driving this change, the real differentiator is not technology itself, but people. In a world where innovation, adaptability, and creativity determine success, leadership must evolve.

The leadership models that worked in the past were built for stability and predictability. Today's environment demands leaders who can build teams that thrive in uncertainty, embrace change, and continuously create new value. David Perry will share practical insights on how entrepreneurs can attract, develop, and retain the leadership talent needed to compete in an Industry 4.0 world.
This session on June 23rd is a must-attend for entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, and emerging leaders who want to better understand how the Fourth Industrial Revolution is reshaping organizations and what it takes to lead successfully through constant change.
