What a toy-tally awesome week at camp! Our campers stepped into the world of Toy Story & brought their imaginations to life through outdoor adventures, creative challenges, & plenty of DIY fun. 🧸☀️ Some groups:

🔥 Roasted Slinky Dogs over the fire
🥔 Designed & decorated our own Mr. Potato Head puppets & treats
📱 Created Lilypad Tablets & Forkies
🌈 Got crafty with tie-dye shirts
🛶 Hit the water for a paddle
🚀 Designed parachutes to help Buzz make a safe landing
🎲 Squeezed in plenty of DIY games & toys along the way!

🎤✨ …but the adventure doesn’t end here! Starting tomorrow, we’re turning up the music & stepping into the world of K-Pop Demon Hunters. See you soon! 👀

It’s been a wonderfully Wicked week! ✨

Our campers stepped into the world of Oz for an adventure filled with magic, mischief, & memories as they:

🫧 Explored volcanic eruptions & made magical bubbles with Artemis at the Nature Centre
🏹 Took aim with archery & paddled off on canoe adventures
🧁 Whipped up green & pink cake pops & got delightfully messy with slime
✨ Created their very own “popular” DIY jibbets
👗 Dressed to impress in Glinda’s fabulous closet
🪢 Learned new knots & found their way across the yellow brick road at Low Ropes

And just when we thought the week couldn’t get any more wicked… there were some surprise appearances at the canteen & Sign-in Field! 🧹👠

Next up: We’re off to see Bonnie & her Toy Story pals! 🚀🧸🐸

This week, our campers brought the spirit of the Ontario Summer Games to camp with a week full of teamwork, creativity, & a little friendly competition! 🥇

From testing their aim at archery & launching pom-poms into the air, to cheering loud with handmade fan fingers, every camper showed off their camp spirit.

When they weren’t competing, campers were getting creative by designing their own stadiums/podiums in the forests, crafting personalized team “jerseys” to remember the week, & celebrating with some seriously gold medal-worthy campfire treats. 🍌🥇 Banana parfait tennis courts & edible gold medals? We’d call that a winning combination!

Here’s to a July full of making memories, trying new things, & celebrating every victory — big & small. ❤️

Now it’s time for our staff to enjoy a well-deserved long weekend to rest & recharge (& squeeze in a Wicked movie marathon) before Camp Samac is whisked away to the magical Land of Oz on Tuesday! 🍿💚🩷🌪️✨

In Week 4, our campers dove deep into Bikini Bottom for a SpongeBob-themed adventure full of creativity, exploration, & plenty of laughs! 🪼✨

Some campers were tasked with navigating through Mrs. Puff’s driving school while blindfolded & others worked together to create contraptions to protect Gary the snail. We saw explore the creatures of Camp Samac’s creek, craft colourful jellyfish & corral reefs, build their own sweet Krabby Patties, take a closer look at Plankton under the microscope, & create the most adorable seashell photo frames to remember it all! 🐚

🏅 Next up: Week 5 brought Camp Samac’s very own Ontario Summer Games! Stay tuned... 🔥

This week didn’t exactly go according to plan, but camp magic has a way of finding a new path. ✨☀️

With extreme heat and air quality concerns keeping us indoors more than usual, our summer staff worked together to turn cabins into places of creativity, curiousity, and unforgettable fun. A huge THANK YOU to our incredible team for their positivity, flexibility, and dedication to creating engaging experiences every single day.

⚡ Harry Potter Week brought plenty of magic indoors:
🧪 Potion making
🎩 Magic shows
🔬 STEM challenges
🎲 Board games
🍺 Butterbeer..and so much more!

While we missed spending as much time outside as we’d hoped, we were thrilled to wrap up the week the best way we know how: back outdoors, enjoying all the classic camp fun together. 💚🌲

Now we’re ready for another exciting adventure! On Monday, Samac is diving deep under the sea with SpongeBob and all of his Bikini Bottom pals. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another week of camp memories! 🌊🍍⭐

Another unforgettable week at Camp Samac! ⭐🍄

This week, our campers blasted off into Samac’s Super Mario Galaxy, where they roasted mystery boxes over the campfire, designed & raced their own Mario Karts down the creek, created pastel galaxies, & put their teamwork to the test by escaping Bowser’s Castle.

The adventure doesn’t stop here... Tomorrow, we’ll be stepping into the Wizarding World of Camp Samac. Wands at the ready — we can’t wait to see what magic awaits! ⚡🪄
