Tonight's the night! Love it or hate it, Daylight Saving Time ends (for most states) at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 1. Now that's one spooky Halloween trick!! 😉🎃
Set clocks back one hour tonight, after trick-or-treating but before brushing your teeth!
Most of the United States observes Daylight Saving Time, but Hawaii and most of Arizona do not. One notable exception in Arizona is the Navajo Nation—they do observe Daylight Saving Time.
A 2022 CBS News poll found that 33% of folks want permanent Standard Time, 46% want permanent DST, and 21% are actually just fine with switching twice a year.
While Congress has not yet passed legislation for permanent DST, states are taking matters into their own hands: 29 states are actively pursuing some form of permanent time change. Recently, new versions of these bills have been introduced, but none have advanced to law.
