🙌 Exciting news ... The capital project at Omemee Beach Park is almost complete!! Just in time for Canada Day, the park will open on July 1, 2026.

▪️ storm water management (SWM) feature

💙 Another Incredible Show of Community Support! 💙

The Omemee Community Fund is extremely grateful to receive another generous donation from the Omemee Swans Club in support of the Omemee Splash Pad Project.

Last night, Swans Brenda and Tyler joined us before our board meeting to present a cheque for $1,000 towards our Splash Pad fundraising campaign.

Our Board of Directors extends its sincere thanks to the Omemee Swans Club for their continued generosity and for everything they do to support not only Omemee, but many surrounding communities as well. Your commitment to making our communities better places to live is truly appreciated.

A special thank you to Brenda and Tyler for taking the time to deliver the wonderful news in person. Your support brings us another step closer to creating a lasting community amenity that families and children will enjoy for generations to come.

A Big Thank You to Central Smith Creamery!

The Omemee Community Fund would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Central Smith Creamery for their generous donation of single-serve ice cream treats.

Thanks to your support, we were able to hand out ice cream to children attending the Scott Young Public School Fun Fair last evening. It was a well-attended event filled with smiles, laughter, and community spirit, and the ice cream was enjoyed by children throughout the event.

Community partnerships like this help make local events even more memorable and bring people together in meaningful ways.

The Omemee Community Fund would like to sincerely thank Omemee Baptist Church for your generous donation to support the Omemee Splash Pad Fundraising Campaign.

Your continued support is greatly appreciated and helps move us one step closer to bringing a splash pad to our community for local children to enjoy.

While our fundraising goal of $700,000 is significant, we believe it is achievable. With generous community support and grant opportunities, our goal is attainable and together we can make this project a reality.

📬 There are approximately 2,134 addresses in Omemee (K0L 2W0).

If each address contributed just $328, together we would raise $699,952 — enough to fund the splash pad through community support alone. 🙌

🇨🇦 Omemee Canada Day Celebration – A True Community Event! 🇨🇦

Looking for something fun to do on Canada Day? Come spend the day right here in Omemee!

This celebration is truly a community effort, with local organizations, churches, volunteers, service clubs, and community groups all working together to create a fantastic day for families, friends, and neighbours to enjoy.

Start your morning with a pancake breakfast, bake sale, crafts, games, and activities around town, then head over to the Omemee Legion grounds beginning at 11:00 a.m. for food, family fun, face painting, raffles, games, prizes, ice cream, plants, community booths, and so much more!

A huge thank you to the Omemee Lions Club, Omemee Swans, Omemee Blooms, Trinity United Church, Omemee Baptist Church, Omemee Food Bank, Omemee Community Fund, and all the volunteers who are helping make this day possible.
