🇨🇦 Omemee Canada Day Celebration – A True Community Event! 🇨🇦

Looking for something fun to do on Canada Day? Come spend the day right here in Omemee!

This celebration is truly a community effort, with local organizations, churches, volunteers, service clubs, and community groups all working together to create a fantastic day for families, friends, and neighbours to enjoy.

Start your morning with a pancake breakfast, bake sale, crafts, games, and activities around town, then head over to the Omemee Legion grounds beginning at 11:00 a.m. for food, family fun, face painting, raffles, games, prizes, ice cream, plants, community booths, and so much more!

A huge thank you to the Omemee Lions Club, Omemee Swans, Omemee Blooms, Trinity United Church, Omemee Baptist Church, Omemee Food Bank, Omemee Community Fund, and all the volunteers who are helping make this day possible.

Let’s celebrate Canada Day together and show off the amazing community spirit that makes Omemee such a special place to call home. ❤️🤍

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to announce that the “Oh Canada!” show on May 30 at the Omemee Legion has been cancelled.

We’re getting ready for an incredible evening of Canadian music with Oh Canada! — a celebration of the legendary music of Gordon Lightfoot and Neil Young performed by Keith Kirkpatrick and Larry Shepherd!

Friday night, May 29th, Redneck Ricky is back in the house for another wild night of karaoke from 8 PM–12 AM! No theme, no rules — just grab the mic, sing your heart out, and help us close out May with a bang! 🎶🍻

Then on Saturday, May 30th, join us for “Oh Canada!” — a special celebration of the music of Canadian legends Gordon Lightfoot and Neil Young, performed by Keith Kirkpatrick and Larry Shepherd. Doors open at 7 PM, show starts at 7:30 PM. 🇨🇦🎸

Two great nights. Two great events. One great Legion weekend.
