Oakville! We need to take action. It’s time to send another letter to the province to tell them to STOP the TOC‼️

The province is trying to allow one developer to by-pass Oakville’s plan for Midtown with 11 hyper-density skyscrapers on the space of just five football fields. They need to let Oakville plan Midtown responsibly so it can become a livable community, not people warehousing. Follow the link below to send a letter now!⤵️

Midtown Oakville - Public Consultation Meeting

Let’s Talk Midtown! The Town invites you to join them for an evening of public consultation and conversation.

Date: Wednesday, October 25, 2023
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Location: South Atrium, Oakville Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road

This is an excellent opportunity to hear the Town’s vision for Midtown and for the Town to hear your concerns!

How do we grow our community together? What does sustainable and responsible growth for Oakville look like? On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, join us for an evening of community conversation about Oakville’s future and the vision for Midtown Oakville.

Together, we’ll explore the possibilities, hear from a special guest speaker, share the latest information on plans, and host a moderated Q&A with members of the Midtown Oakville Project Team followed by a series of public engagement activities.

Midtown is an underdeveloped area in Oakville that is centrally located around the Oakville GO Station. Plans are underway to make this area a livable, connected and mixed-use urban community that better serves the entire town.

Come to the Town’s Update Meeting re the Heritage District Plan on October 17

The Town is ready to kick off the discussion about the new Plan and Guidelines for the Old Oakville Heritage Conservation District and is sharing the following information:

Please join us on Tuesday, October 17th from 6:30-8:30 pm to learn more about what we’re looking at for the Plan and Guidelines and to give us your initial comments about what we should (or shouldn’t) be including in the new Plan and Guidelines. The meeting will start with a brief presentation and then move into discussion groups.

The meeting will be held in Lusk Hall at St. John’s Church at 262 Randall Street.

Registration is not required, but we do appreciate it if you can let us know if you’re planning to attend! If you can’t make the meeting, we will share the feedback that we receive and you are always welcome to provide us with your thoughts via email.
