On October 1, we celebrate National Seniors Day in Canada and recognize the wisdom, experiences and valuable contributions older adults make in our families and communities every day. 💛
At CCAH, we believe staying connected, creative and engaged matters at every stage of life. Through our Expressive Arts Program, seniors have opportunities to connect with others, explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts.
Today, we celebrate the seniors who continue to enrich, inspire and strengthen our communities.

September 30 marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada, a day to honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

At CCAH, we recognize that reconciliation requires more than acknowledgement. It calls on all of us to listen, learn, reflect on the lasting impacts of the residential school system, and deepen our understanding of the histories and experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Today and beyond September 30, may we continue to learn from the truth and consider the role each of us can play in advancing reconciliation.

Every Child Matters. 🧡
