Because thousands of Oakville residents have shown up, spoken up, emailed, texted, hosted signs, rallied, and refused to disengage, the Midtown issue has not quietly disappeared the way Infrastructure Ontario clearly hoped it would.

Dear Premier Ford,
Please work with Ministers Flack and McCarthy to pause and conduct an objective assessment of the Oakville
TOC. This TOC is a developer-driven proposal that ignores market reality, imposes mega-density far beyond provincial standards, and doesn't deliver housing until after 2031.
Oakville's plan for the Go Station area
-OPA 70 is a common-sense, market-ready alternative, with responsible density and delivers a complete, livable community. We need to approve a plan that meets the needs of Ontario families, not just developers.

Dear Premier Ford, We need your Common Sense Leadership on the Oakville TOC. Minster Surma is pushing a really bad plan. Meanwhile, Oakville’s unanimous OPA70 covers the whole Oakville Go Station area and will build homes faster than the TOC plan. Now they are even threatening us with an MZO. Please ask your Ministers to take a close look at this site and the merits of OPA70 which should be applied to the whole GO Station area so we build a complete community for families, faster!
