Welcome to our first Support Spotlight: Bernadette Adkins! With her nurturing + caring personality, there's no surprise Bernadette pursued a career in nursing. Working within the hospital setting, she supported babies + new parents with hands-on care + education on the importance of skin to skin, expressed breast milk feeding, and breastfeeding. With a passion for helping families achieve their feeding goals past the discharge date, Bernadette became a certified lactation consultant in order to help families throughout their entire feeding journey. She’s your go-to girl for all things breastfeeding for you and your little one, with an evidence based + practical approach. You might just become an extension of her family!
