A run in the sun before the rain came. Another good turnout of runners ,joggers and walkers got their exercise at event 347. We had 7 first timers with 7 people achieving pbs. The first 3 finishers had age grades of 77%, 76% and 75%! Well done to all who took part whatever your time and thanks to the volunteers. Also a thank you to Clarke Heipel for giving parkrun a mention on Cogeco News this week. Remember, there is NO parkrun on Sept 12th

Event 346 on the 10th anniversary of parkrun in Canada saw 7 first timers including a runner doing her first parkrun ever from Whitehorse and also a tailwalker from Waterloo. 7 people achieved pbs in the drizzle and cooler conditions. Well done to all who took part whatever your speed. Thanks to the volunteers as usual and see you again next week
