A big thank you to North Bay Regional Health Centre and all the volunteers who came together to help plant trees and invest in our community's future.

Trees do more than beautify our neighbourhoods; they improve air quality, provide shade, support local wildlife, and help strengthen our urban forest for generations to come.

Together, we're increasing North Bay's tree canopy and creating healthier spaces for people, wildlife, and future generations to thrive. 💚

Hello Streetscapers!

We have an exciting update for you! This year, we are introducing a brand-new category: Therapeutic Gardens, inspired by this year's Communities in Bloom theme.

A Therapeutic Garden is designed to create a peaceful, restorative, and enjoyable environment that promotes well-being and strengthens our connection with nature.

Please note: The Small Space Garden category has been replaced by Therapeutic Gardens. But don't worry—a small space garden can absolutely be a therapeutic garden! It's not the size of the space that matters, but how it creates a sense of comfort, relaxation, and connection with nature.

Judging Criteria:

- Creates a calm, welcoming, and inviting atmosphere
- Incorporates plants, colors, fragrances, or natural sounds that encourage relaxation and sensory enjoyment
- Features elements such as pathways, seating areas, or gathering spaces that enhance comfort and accessibility
- Showcases creative personal touches or distinctive design features that contribute to the garden's character and therapeutic benefits

We can't wait to see the beautiful, inspiring, and restorative spaces you create this season!

Have you ever wanted to grow your own vegetables, herbs, or flowers? The CGB Community Garden Hub at 580 Algonquin Ave. has garden plots available for community groups and organizations this growing season.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to learn, grow fresh food, and connect with your community.

We'd also love to welcome volunteers who want to help maintain the garden, support community events, and make this space thrive.
