A message from the New West Pride President regarding our AGM tonight being postponed.

To uphold our commitment to transparency and ensure compliance with our bylaws, applicable BC legislation, and our Code of Conduct, we have made the decision to postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) that was scheduled for tonight September 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

As President, I recognize that several important requirements were not fully met on my part, please see below:

Providing the AGM agenda with the initial meeting notice.

Posting notice of the AGM on our social media channels in addition to notifying active members.

Providing a virtual participation link for members who are unable to attend in person.

For these oversights, I sincerely apologize.

We believe it is important to address these matters properly and ensure that all members have equitable access to information and participation opportunities before proceeding with our AGM.

Please keep an eye on your email and our social media channels for details regarding the new date, time, location, agenda, and virtual attendance information.

If you are not a member and want to be a part of our voting process or if you are a member and do not know the status of your membership, please reach out to [email protected].

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support of our organization. We look forward to meeting with you soon.

With love
