Fairytales for All! Storytime and Family Freestore + Swap ✨

Come through for a sweet storytime with our wonderful librarian, and stay for some tea, snacks, and sharing! This is a family-centred mutual aid space for sharing resources, connection, and care. 🌱

The free store is open for anyone who needs it—no referral, no eligibility, and no expectation to give in return. Freestore items are contributed by community members and organized with care, and families are welcome to take what supports them and their household. If you’re able, you’re also invited to contribute gently used or new items to help keep resources circulating. This is a space of dignity, reciprocity, and collective support—where we care for one another by sharing what we have. 🌈

All are welcome. Bring your hand-me-downs, your gently used postpartum and pregnancy gear, preloved toys, books, and family items you no longer need. Bring your kiddos, your neighbours, your friends—come as you are. Take what supports you, share what you can, and be part of a mutual aid space rooted in community care, dignity, and reciprocity. ❤️

Additional resources available include:
Healthcare, legal, and housing systems navigation available. Doula care and perinatal education. Community resources and referrals.
