The LMH Foundation is hosting our very first Christmas High Tea on November 15th, and while it is still several months away, tickets are already flying out the door. If you would like to join us, we do recommend reserving your tickets sooner rather than later. We are very much looking forward to seeing you there. πŸ₯°

If you are not able to join us, but would like to support this fundraiser in another way - as a volunteer, through the donation of an auction item, or as an event sponsor - please contact the Foundation office at 519-323-2210 x.77711 or [email protected] for details and information.

In just a few short months, the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation will be participating in the 25th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon. This year, the LMH Foundation has set yet another ambitious goal - to raise $150,000 towards Infrastructure Upgrades for Louise Marshall Hospital.

These upgrades include the replacement of the heliport lighting system, excavation and repair of the receiving area/parking lot, and a staircase hoist for the "penthouse" - where the hospital's air handling units are located. While not medical in nature, these 'nuts and bolts' items are absolutely essential in ensuring that the facility is maintained to the highest possible standard, and that both patients and staff are safe and comfortable, allowing the team at Louise Marshall Hospital to do what they do best - provide excellence in patient care, right here in Mount Forest.

Back again this year by very popular demand, is our Community Breakfast held in support of our 2026 Radiothon campaign. Stop on by the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex on Saturday, October 17th from 8am-11am for a yummy breakfast by donation. Can't wait to see you there!

For today's feel-good Friday post (it's another long one, but also another good one 😁)...

On November 15, 2026, the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation will be hosting a Christmas High Tea at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex, held in memory of a very dear friend of the Foundation, Brenda Meyer. Brenda hosted her very first High Tea last year, and we are both honoured and pleased to carry on this tradition in her name.

The Tea is scheduled to run from 12:30-3:30pm, and will include a traditional high tea service complete with sandwiches and scones, plenty of delicious cakes and desserts, and of course a selection of teas and other beverages. Also on offer will be a limited auction and live music, not to mention a great deal of good company and festive cheer.

Tickets for this event are $75 per person. To reserve your ticket(s) today, please contact the Foundation office at 519-323-2210 x77711 or x77701, or by email to [email protected]. We do gently encourage you to contact us sooner rather than later if you are considering joining us, as there is limited seating available for this event, and a number of tickets have already been claimed.

If you would like to support our Christmas High Tea through sponsorship, as a volunteer, or through the donation of an auction item, please contact LMH Foundation Executive Director, Amy Van Huss, at [email protected] or 519-323-2210 x.77711.

We're really looking forward to this event, and hope you are too!

It takes a village to put on an event like the LMH Foundation's annual Gala, and this year's event was no different. We would like to take a moment to extend a huge thank you to our auction donors, vendors and event partners - to all the people you do see, AND to the ones working hard behind the scenes you don't. We see you πŸ‘€, and now everyone else can too! THANK YOU!

Long post alert (but it's a good one!!)...

On Saturday, May 30th, the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation hosted our 6th Annual Gala, A Masquerade Ball, at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex. We welcomed more than 430 guests for a decadent evening of fun and fundraising, all in support of Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH) in Mount Forest.

The Foundation set a goal to raise $150,000 towards the cost of a new ultrasound machine for the Diagnostic Imaging department at LMH, as well as multiple vital signs monitors to refresh the hospital's current fleet. When all was said and done, and the numbers were crunched - and the candelabras all packed away! - we raised more than $153,000 towards this goal.

To our sponsors, guests, donors, vendors and volunteers - thank you for your commitment to helping the team at LMH provide the very best in patient care, right here in Mount Forest. We are so grateful for your support and for all you do for our community! We would like to extend an extra special thank you to our Gala Committee, for all their hard work in planning and preparing for this event. Your vision and creativity are what makes the Gala possible, and we're excited to see what next year brings!

One final note....Please save the date - June 12, 2027 - for the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation's 7th Annual Gala, Night on the Nile! We can't wait to see you there.❀

On behalf of all of us here at the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, we would like to extend a warm thank you to Gary Lizotte and the Mount Forest RCL Branch 134, for all their hard work in coordinating the recent Darts on Fire tournament. We were so pleased to stop by the Legion on Monday, to accept their donation to the LMH Foundation as partial proceeds from this event. Thanks so much for thinking of us here at the hospital - your support goes a very long way towards helping to keep quality health care in our community.

We were absolutely delighted to meet up with Faye, Brenda and Katie yesterday, to accept Cancer Patient Services Corporation's donation of $70,000 that will be used to purchase 2 gastroscopes for Louise Marshall Hospital's surgical unit. We are so grateful for CPS's continued generosity and support of our local hospital here in Mount Forest. On behalf of all of us here at the Louise Marshall Hospital & Foundation, THANK YOU for all you do for our community!

Cancer Patient Services is pleased to be able to donate the amount of $70,000 to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation for the purchase of two gastroscopes. These scopes will be used to assist in the detection of cancer among other issues.
