All birthdays are special but with the help of Family and Friends, Donna Shaw was able to celebrate a milestone birthday. In lieu of gifts, Donna requested funds be donated to CPSC. We are extremely grateful that Donna thought of CPSC when celebrating her birthday.

We would like to thank the Mount Forest Legion Branch 134 for their generous donation in the amount of $750 which was raised from their meat draws.
We will use these funds to provide rides for cancer patients to appointments. Here Deryck West (Legion 1st Vice-President) presents the cheque to Faye Meulensteen of CPSC.

Cancer Patient Services is pleased to be able to donate the amount of $70,000 to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation for the purchase of two gastroscopes. These scopes will be used to assist in the detection of cancer among other issues.

Cancer Patient Services sincerely appreciates the donation in the amount of $1,900 from the Mount Forest Legion and specifically from the Darts on Fire tournament proceeds. These funds will be used to provide rides to appointments for cancer patients in our community.

We still have a few pots of pansies left. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to support cancer patients in the Mount Forest area with the purchase of a pot for $6.00.
Pansies will be available April 29th at the Mount Forest Seniors Group held at the Mount Forest Sports Complex.
Pansies are also available at the Mount Forest Thrift Shop weekdays from 10 to 4 and Saturday from 10 to 3.

For those of you that missed our pansy sale last Friday and Saturday, don’t worry, we have lots left for you.
Pansies will be available for purchase as follows:
This week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm at the Mount Forest Thrift Store.
On Friday April 24th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Mount Forest Greenhouse on a drive through basis.
Cost is $6 per pot with 4 plants per pot.
When they are gone they are gone!
Proceeds provide rides and support for cancer patients in Mount Forest and surrounding area.

Friday was a great day for selling pansies. Saturday, not so much.
