Join us for a BBQ lunch at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

All proceeds go to the Louise Marshall Hospital - tickets are only $20 at the door.

This week we celebrate National Volunteers Week, by thanking our dedicated members for their tremendous efforts, and by recognizing the many contributions of support from local groups, individuals, and businesses to make our fundraisers successful.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Louise Marshall Hospital, and we are so appreciative of our volunteer group, whose time and dedication help raise vital funds that directly support patient care and hospital services. Thank you for all that you do!

We can confirm: The Auxiliary to Louise Marshall Hospital had a great time, with good company and excellent tunes to aid us in the mask-making session! 😀

Preparations for the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation's 6th Annual Gala: A Masquerade Ball have been underway for months now, but this week our volunteers kicked into gear with a master class in mask design! We were hoping to get a head-start on some of the Gala decor this week, but in just under three hours, these girls knocked out more than 60 gorgeous masks - and without even one glue gun-related injury!! We can't wait for you to see them up-close an in-person at the Gala. Thanks for all your help, ladies! We literally could not do it without you!

Spring Update:
- Don't forget our Spring Luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at the Sports Complex. Come and enjoy a BBQ lunch, and spend time with friends and acquaintances.
- Our annual Quilt ticket sales will start soon. This is the 28th year that a quilt has been hand-made by our Mennonite community, who generously donate their time and efforts for our fundraising! We are extremely appreciative, and this year's quilt is stunning! Pictures to come soon.
- As well we’ve set up for Easter at the Hospital Gift Shop. Decor and chocolates are selling fast, so be sure to visit us Mon to Fri, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

And lastly, interesting fact- Did you know: the Auxiliary to the Louise Marshall Hospital awards 2 students per year from our local WHSS high school, with a $1,000 Education Award towards their furthering Health Studies. Pretty great to know!

Last week, the Louise Marshall Hospital Gift Shop, received the most wonderful donation of knitted baby/toddler outfits, from a very generous donor!

If you have a new grand-daughter or grand-son (or even a niece, nephew or dear friend), these hand-made articles would make a wonderful gift!

Pass by the Gift Shop and have a look! We are opposite the front entrance, and are open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

We are so proud and pleased for our annual donation to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.

Donations like this are due only to the hard work and dedication of all our Auxiliary members, who do their best throughout the year to ensure we can support the Foundation in their goals. Without our volunteers, these funds would not be raised.

We had the pleasure of stopping by the LMH Gift Shop today - our shortest commute yet, since it is right next door to our offices 😁 - to meet up with two members of the Auxiliary to Louise Marshall Hospital; President, Linda Dunk; and Treasurer, Pat MacDonald, to accept their incredible donation of $19,500 - the results of their tireless fundraising efforts. This includes the proceeds from the Auxiliary's annual quilt raffle, spring luncheon and fall bazaar; as well as funds raised through their booth at the Mount Forest Farmer's Market during the summer months, and the Hospital Gift Shop.

They've very generously chosen to direct their gift in support of not one, but TWO capital projects in need of funding at Louise Marshall Hospital this year, including a Palliative Care bed and mattress, and a med fridge for the Recovery Room PACU. Thanks so much for your endless hard work, unwavering support and unrivaled partnership - we appreciate you!
