A historic milestone for the Ukrainian community!💙💛

🇨🇦🇺🇦 A Historic Day for Ukrainian Heritage in Canada!

Today, I am incredibly proud and delighted to share that my legislation, Bill S-210, the Ukrainian Heritage Month Act, has successfully passed the House of Commons!

This is a historic milestone for Ukrainian Canadians and for our country.

The Bill will become law once it receives Royal Assent, officially recognizing September as Ukrainian Heritage Month across Canada!

All those who share Ukrainian heritage should take great pride in this recognition. It is an opportunity to celebrate our rich history, culture, and traditions, and to continue and expand our efforts to share our heritage with others, while simultaneously recognizing and celebrating the heritage of other communities that enrich Canada’s multicultural fabric.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who worked so hard to bring this legislation to a successful conclusion.

Particular thanks to Senators: Donna Dasko, Hassan Yussuff, Tonny Varone, Tonny Dean, Rebecca Patterson, and Omidvar Ratna for their longstanding support, and to MP Yvan Baker, who shepherded this Bill through the House of Commons.

This is truly a moment to celebrate — not only for Ukrainian Canadians, but for all Canadians who believe in the importance of preserving and celebrating our shared cultural heritage.

🇨🇦🕯️ We Mourn with Canada.

The Ukrainian Association of Moncton extends its heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the Canadian Armed Forces members who lost their lives in the tragic fire at CFB Wainwright, Alberta.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by this tragedy. We wish strength to the grieving families and a full recovery to those injured.

In this time of sorrow, we stand with Canada. 🇨🇦🇺🇦

🇨🇦 This Thanksgiving, we want to say the most important words: thank you.

The Ukrainian Association of Moncton is, first and foremost, about people.

People who show up. People who stay. People who help. People who respond when something needs to be done. People who give their time, energy, knowledge, talent, and a part of their heart.

Today, we want to thank every member of our Association, our cultural groups, artists, educators, and everyone who helps represent Ukrainian culture, develop educational projects, organize events, and keep Ukrainian traditions visible and alive here in Canada.

A very special thank you goes to our volunteers.

To those who arrive early and stay late. Who carry tables, prepare, pack, decorate, welcome guests, help at events, collect donations, make calls, write messages, drive, organize, and support others. Often quietly, without expecting recognition.

We see you.
We appreciate you.
You matter to us.

Thank you to Ukrainians and Canadians. Thank you to our friends, partners, and supporters. Thank you to people in Canada, in Ukraine, and beyond who continue to stand with our community.

Behind every event, every cultural initiative, every educational project, and every act of support for Ukraine, there are real people.

And people are the greatest strength of our community.

This Thanksgiving, we simply want to say:

BEHIND THIS “THANK YOU” ARE REAL LIVES 🇨🇦🇺🇦

Tomorrow, Canada celebrates Thanksgiving.

For us, it is another reason to say a word we use often here: thank you.

Thank you to everyone who comes to our events, donates, volunteers, works with us, shares our posts, leaves a comment, tells others about what we do, or simply chooses to stand beside us.

Because the support received by the Ukrainian Association of Moncton does not stop here.

It travels further.

To Ukraine.
To Ukrainian soldiers.
To the places where help is needed most.

And sometimes, behind a simple “thank you” is a life that was protected or saved.

The photos we are sharing today show only a small part of the support sent recently. Some of these moments we have not even had time to share yet, and there is much more that happens quietly, beyond the camera.

Our soldiers know that people here care. They feel your support. And they are deeply grateful for it.

So are we.

To every person whose kindness continues to cross borders.

We’re very happy to see the Ukrainian Association of Moncton space come alive with new activities, gatherings, and positive initiatives for our community.

One of them is a Saturday morning Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice.

If you’d like to start your weekend with movement, breathing, energy, and a little more time for yourself, you’re welcome to join us.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic practice that connects movement, breath, and focus.

✨ Build strength and improve mobility
✨ Develop flexibility and body awareness
✨ Improve focus and mindful breathing
✨ Leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more balanced

📅 When: Saturdays
⏰ Time: 8:30–9:45 AM
📍 Where: Ukrainian Hub, Large Hall

What to bring:
A yoga mat and comfortable clothing.

No previous experience is required. Everyone is welcome to join and practice at their own pace and level.

It’s officially pumpkin season! 🍂🎃

October is here, which means it’s time for cozy sweaters, hot tea, and that special warm feeling at home. Pumpkins are everywhere right now — in pies, spiced lattes, and, of course, in our showroom!

Today, we have a truly exclusive offer for you.

Our incredibly talented artisan, Guessab
, has hand-painted a limited series of decorative pumpkins. These are unique little works of art, and there are only 4 pieces available in total:
