Big Brothers Big Sisters of Medicine Hat & District Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates developmental relationships between volunteer mentors and children and youth who are facing adversity.

We are not Government funded, and rely on our community for support. Mentors constitute a social resource, helping children and youth develop social and emotional skills and connecting them to other parts of their communities. Our mentoring programs also provide opportunities for meaningful volunteer roles that make a true impact in the community and in the lives of the children and youth we work

with. As part of our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, we prioritize collaborating and working with like-minded partners in the community. Unlike many charitable organizations, we do not receive government funding on an ongoing basis. We need the support f the community to continue to serve local children and youth through our many mentoring programs, designed to support their mental health and well-being.

A heartfelt thank you to Big M Ford Lincoln Ltd. and our incredible community for your support during the Drive 4 UR Community Event!
This event raised an amazing $4,400 for Big Brothers Big Sisters, helping us continue to create life-changing mentoring relationships for local young people. Your participation, generosity, and commitment to making a difference are helping to Ignite Potential in the lives of children and youth throughout our community.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to test drive a vehicle, spread the word, and support this important initiative. We are grateful for your partnership and proud of what we accomplished together. This money will be matched up to 50% through Rogers Charity Classic birdies for kids program.
