Hope H2O (Formerly Hope for Rural Children and Orphans or HORCO) is a registered Canadian charity currently focusing on water and sanitation issues in rural Ethiopia. 🇪🇹 Both Hope H2O Canada and our affiliated Ethiopian NGO are Christian-based groups dedicated to sharing the love and compassion that stems from faith in Jesus Christ. We strive to empower rural communities who have identified their

needs and assets and are willing to partner with us to improve the quality of their lives, regardless of their race, creed, or nationality. We are committed to respecting and protecting the dignity of all people we serve.

Today is World Toilet Day.
Sanitation and Hygiene are essential elements to the work that Hope H2O does in Ethiopia. Adding functional toilets and handwashing stations to schools makes it possible for ALL children to attend school every day, especially girls.

We all have to use them, so next time you use a nice, clean toilet, be grateful for what you have, and maybe consider giving to an organization like Hope H2O that helps bring water, sanitation and hygiene to rural Ethiopia.

We all know from the pandemic that handwashing is essential to staying healthy. For those of us in developing countries, it doesn't even cross our minds that we would need clean water to wash our hands, because we have ready access to it. This is why we are so focused on bringing clean water to rural communities in Ethiopia. It is the essential part of staying healthy.
