Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM last night! We were proud to present the Lloydminster Rescue Squad with a cheque on behalf of Servus Credit Union for serving as our scrutineers.

November 22, 2025

Today our Water Rescue & Recovery Team was called to Loon Lake, Saskatchewan after a heartbreaking report of an individual who had fallen through the ice.
Thanks to the incredible collaboration across our region we were able to respond immediately and recover the individual in under an hour from the time we arrived on scene.

This outcome was only possible because of three things we’re incredibly proud of:

1. The specialized ice/water rescue & underwater recovery equipment that Lloydminster Rescue Squad has invested in thanks to this amazing community. Without this equipment, this recovery would not have been possible.

2. The training and readiness of our volunteer members who drop everything the moment the pager goes off.

3. The unbreakable partnership we have with our neighbouring departments.
