10/29/2026
Last night marked our final practice of 2026. We decided to end it with a bang and let all of our parents test their tackle skills out!
We are so proud of every player that stepped on the field for us this year. Almost every single one of you had zero football experience, but you did not shy away from the challenge of learning a new sport in a challenging environment. It’s not easy to go to practice every day knowing that you will not be getting much of a break during drills because there aren’t enough players. It’s not easy to wake up early on a Saturday knowing that you will be on the field for most of a 90 minutes football game, if not all of it.
Thank you to everyone that helped make this season happen. From our coaches and volunteers, our players and their parents/guardians that act as a taxi service during the season, our sponsors, the town of Ladysmith, and all of our opponents who made sure that our players could get some playtime in no matter the circumstances. Without you all, these kids might not have had an opportunity to play football this year.
Stay tuned for announcements on registration for the Spring 2027 season. We have big plans for next year, and hope to have a team in all three age groups (Atom, Peewee, Junior Bantam).
Day by day, we get better and better!!
