Something special is coming to Heart on the Hill!

We are excited to announce an upcoming Soup Kitchen at Heart on the Hill — a welcoming space where community members can gather, share a warm meal, and connect with one another.

We’re currently looking for caring volunteers who would like to help make this initiative a success. Whether you can lend a hand occasionally or on a regular basis, we’d love to hear from you!

To learn more or volunteer, please email: [email protected]

Together, we can build a stronger, more connected community.

Since 1986, Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association (CTRA) has offered therapeutic riding and equine-assisted programs in the Cowichan Valley to improve wellness and build horsemanship skills. Their certified instructors, volunteers, and therapy horses provide safe, personalized programs for all abilities. This program has benefited Ladysmith residents and residents all over the Cowichan Valley.

Their annual event is on Saturday, May 30, 2026. It’s an evening filled with amazing tunes and good vibes, featuring a live performance by dance/party band Demographix playing your favourite hits. The celebration takes place in CTRA’s covered arena at Providence Farm.

Funds raised will go toward essential grounds and building maintenance for CTRA. As with all of our fundraising programs, let's head out there and show them support!
