With the municipal election coming up this October, now is the time to learn what’s involved!

This year – instead of in person sessions, Virtual Candidate Information Sessions are being hosted jointly by The Town of Ladysmith and the CVRD on WEDNESDAY AUGUST 12, at 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm

You’ll learn about the election process, campaign requirements, the role of an elected official, along with an have an opportunity to ask questions.

🎉 Ladysmith Days fun continues! 🎉

The excitements starts at 10 am downtown today - Sunday -with the always-popular Soapbox Races, proudly sponsored by the Kinsmen and the Downtown Business Association, along with thrilling Skateboard Demonstrations, sponsored by Four-One-One.

Then head down to Transfer Beach this afternoon to enjoy the Kids Zone, a fantastic lineup of live music, and cap off an incredible weekend with the spectacular fireworks finale tonight. 🎆
