Next Gen Photography is a youth-led social enterprise project under Hope for Community Development, created to provide opportunities for youth while capturing authentic moments within our community.
Today, we’re introducing two of the creatives helping bring the vision to life: Leeandrae and Zack!

From graduations and sports to community events and creative projects, we’re passionate about creating visuals that tell real stories.

We’re excited to welcome a Business Development Officer to our team through the Canada Summer Jobs program.

About Us

Hope for Community Development is a registered charity dedicated to empowering marginalized, newcomer, and racialized youth and families across Kitchener and surrounding areas. Through education, entrepreneurship, creative arts, and community-driven programs, we help young people build skills, gain experience, and lead meaningful change.

About the Role

The Business Development Officer will gain hands-on experience in marketing, business development, social media content creation, market research, client engagement, and strategic planning. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, a marketing mindset, and a genuine commitment to youth empowerment and social impact.

Hope for Community Development was selected as one of the recipients of the Black Ideas Grant. This grant strengthens our communications, operations, fundraising, training, and technology capacity. This project is funded by the Foundation for Black Communities, with partial support from the Government of Canada.

Exciting News!

Hope for Community Development is officially a Registered Charity in Canada! 🇨🇦🎉

This new status from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) means we can now issue official tax receipts for donations.

This milestone allows us to expand our programs, increase our impact and, most importantly, serve more marginalized, newcomer, and racialized youth and families in our community.
We want to thank our incredible community for believing in our mission.
