Today is Day 1 of Homelessness Awareness Month.

Rebuilding after homelessness takes safety, time, and encouragement. At Ryandale, our transitional housing gives residents a secure space to build independence and prepare for permanent housing.

Thank you for supporting our neighbors on their journey home.

Spooky season is officially here! 🎃👻

From all of us at Ryandale, we want to wish our amazing community a Happy Halloween!

If you and your little ghouls, goblins, and superheroes are heading out tonight, here are a few quick tips to keep trick-or-treating safe and fun for everyone:

🔦 Stay Bright & Visible: Reflective tape, glow sticks, and flashlights help drivers see costume-clad kids in the dark.

👀 Keep Sightlines Clear: Opt for face paint instead of masks where possible so vision isn't obstructed.

🚶 Stick to the Paths: Walk on sidewalks, cross at street corners, and make eye contact with drivers before crossing.

🍬 Check the Haul: Save the snacking until you get home so an adult can inspect all treats first!

Welcoming Sara, a placement student from St. Lawrence College

Over the coming weeks, Sara will be learning the ropes, shadowing Mandy, and working alongside our dedicated Case Management team to support our community.

Placement students bring fresh energy, enthusiasm, and perspective to our team, and we’re so glad to have her with us.

Fall sure is a good time for a collage 🍂✨

Looking back at these moments from the Hwy 15 Indigenous Food Sovereignty Garden! We had such an amazing time building birdhouses and eating straight from the land.

And seriously… LITERALLY SUCH AMAZING FOOD! It was so, so good, huge THANK YOU to Mandy for the incredible Lunch! 🥗🌾❤️
