We're hosting a group ride at Harper! Join Aryn and Bryan on Sunday, May 31.

🚵 Skill Level: Intermediate / Advanced

For intermediate riders, we will be descending Easy Rider. Depending on turnout, we may split into groups and include a black descent option. Or we will see how the group is vibing!

SOCKS!

Shawn Cowan will be coming with sock orders for those who would prefer to pick up at this group ride vs his house in Batch.

We will have a few socks on hand for purchase. Because there is no service, it will be cash only, NO CHANGE.

🐾 Introducing our newest Trail Dog Member: Harlow

We received her application. We reviewed it thoroughly. We approved it immediately.

✔️ Chasing humans down singletrack - extensive experience

✔️ Wildlife surveillance (birds, squirrels) - ongoing

✔️ Sitting in the driver's seat while humans run errands - highly proficient

✔️ Being a very good girl - certified

Harlow is a Labradoodle of considerable talent and even more considerable floof. Her favourite trail is Beer Run and her motivation is the tick tick of the hubs!

Teen League starts on Monday, May 25th!

Session 1 will be at the Dufferin Skills Zone from 6 pm to approximately 7:45 pm (give or take 15 mins).

This is a reminder to parents to ensure your child's bike is in good working condition. Additionally, the following gear is required for all riders:

-Certified helmet
-Clean bike in good working condition
-Backpack
-Water
-Snack
-Tube
-Multi-tool
-Tire levers

With the recent rain, we expect the trails to be in incredible riding condition!

We got the chance to sit down with our newest trail dog member, River, to ask the important questions - mainly, why do they love riding bikes so much?

River’s answer:

“Wind in my ears! New smells! Sniff… squirrel! Faster, human! Ruff ruff! Faster, let’s go. Sniff… sniff… best. day. ever.”

This beaglier (beagle + king charles cavalier for the curious humans) can most commonly be found living their best life on Cadence’s Climb.

🐍 Introducing: The Rattler Sock

True to Kamloops roots, this sock feels like us! I'm sure we can all relate to a moment mid-ride where a rattler appears in your peripheral vision, and you have a split second to make a decision - do you sprint past screaming, or do you turn around and reroute your whole afternoon? We've done both.

Paired with balsamroot in full spring bloom, this sock captures everything that makes riding around Kamloops so special. That pop of golden yellow spreading across the hillsides at Harper means riding season is here, and there's nowhere else we'd rather be.

The KBRA Kids League Race Days are just around the corner, happening on May 4 & 8!

Race days are for all ages, and there are no extra fees to participate. If you registered for the KBRA Kids League, the races are included.

Please bring noise makers, signs, and big voices to cheer on the kids!!!
