And that’s a wrap on Where We Belong! 💛

What an incredible two days of connection, learning, laughter, and celebration at the conference presented by Speak Up Self-Advocacy Awareness - SUSA Society

One of the most meaningful moments came during the closing session, when everyone had the opportunity to share what stood out to them and what they would take away from the experience.

Hearing those reflections was such a wonderful reminder of why opportunities like this matter. Bringing people together to share experiences, learn from one another, build relationships, and have their voices heard is what community inclusion is all about.

It was a privilege for KSCI to help bring this event to life and to connect with and learn from so many wonderful people along the way.

A huge congratulations to SUSA and everyone who helped make Where We Belong possible!

KSCI will be at the Pride Open House on June 12 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Riverside Park, and we would love to see you there.

Stop by our table to say hello, connect with us, and take part in a few fun activities. We will be sharing information about KSCI, talking about inclusion, and inviting people to join in some light myth-busting about disability, belonging, and community.

There will be food trucks, drag performers and 22 other vendors to visit!

The Pride Open House is a great opportunity to celebrate connection, visibility, and the importance of creating communities where everyone feels welcome, valued, and free to be themselves.

Come visit us, bring a friend, and enjoy an afternoon in the park.

We hope to see you there!
