Kahnawake Schools Diabetes Prevention Program - KSDPP ​​Healthy eating, daily physical activity, adequate sleep, and ​wholistic wellness ​can prevent diabetes! Lawrence River, 15 kilometers from downtown Montréal.

Kahnawà:ke is a Kanien'kehá:ka/Mohawk Territory of 8,000 people located by the south shore of the St. The Kanien'kehá:ka Nation is part of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy whose traditional lands span across southern Québec, Ontario and New York State. The traditional foods consist of corn, beans and squash as well as food sources acquired through fishing, hunting and gathering.
