Age old religious persecution from a government against the clergy this time as Orthodox monks are being evicted from their own property.
Although some monks could have been sympathetic to the Russians since the start of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict, those specific suspected monks should have been scrutinized personally instead of a blanket reprisal with a baseless claim wanting to convert a monastery into a museum.

More could come to light but the initial evidence points to religious persecution.
