Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour the lives of transgender and gender-diverse people who have been taken by violence, discrimination, and hatred.
We hold space for their memories, we speak their names, and we acknowledge the pain felt by their families, friends, and communities. TDOR is not only a day of remembrance, but a call to action — a reminder that every trans life deserves dignity, safety, and the freedom to live openly and authentically.
To the trans community:
We see you. We value you. We stand with you.
Your courage strengthens us, your resilience inspires us, and your lives matter deeply.
May we continue working toward a world where all transgender people can live without fear — a world built on respect, understanding, and love.
