🇨🇦❤️ Another Safe Arrival. Another New Beginning.

We are delighted to welcome another Afghan Association of Hamilton- sponsored refugee family who arrived safely in Canada, ready to begin a new chapter in their lives.

Representatives of the Afghan Association of Hamilton (AAH) were there to welcome them upon arrival and remind them that they are not alone as they begin their resettlement journey.

At AAH, we believe that welcoming refugees is about more than helping people reach safety. It is about giving individuals and families the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging—while supporting them as they become active members of their new community.

Every new arrival strengthens our commitment to building a community where newcomers are welcomed, supported, and given the opportunity to succeed.

Together, we are building a stronger community—one family, one new beginning, and one opportunity at a time❤️🇨🇦🏡

✨Empowering Women, Building Stronger Communities ✨

AAH’s Women’s Picnic was a wonderful celebration of community, connection, and empowerment.

Women came together to socialize, share experiences, support one another, and enjoy an afternoon filled with friendship, music and the joyful sounds of the daira✨🪘

At the Afghan Association of Hamilton (AAH), we are committed to creating safe and welcoming spaces where women can connect, build confidence, and have their voices heard. This work is especially meaningful as we stand in solidarity with Afghan women and girls who continue to be deprived of many of their basic human rights.

Through our women’s programs and refugee sponsorship initiatives, AAH remains dedicated to supporting women and families as they build new lives in Canada.

Thank you to all the amazing women who made this event such a success🌷

🇨🇦 A Proud Milestone for the Afghan Association of Hamilton - Welcoming our 100th Sponsored Refugee to Canada 🇨🇦

The Afghan Association of Hamilton (AAH) is honored to welcome another privately sponsored refugee family arriving from India to Canada on July 17, 2026. This family of 7 marks a very special and historic milestone for our organization.

With their arrival, AAH will have successfully welcomed and supported 100 refugees to safety and a new beginning in Canada out of the 108 refugees sponsored since 2017, through our humanitarian efforts.

This achievement reflects years of dedication, community collaboration, donors, volunteer support, and compassion for vulnerable refugee families seeking protection, stability, and hope for a better future.

As we welcome this family to Hamilton, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting newcomer families with dignity, respect, and opportunity as they begin rebuilding their lives in Canada.

Together, we are changing lives — one family at a time 🤝❤️
