62 RoyaI Hamilton Light Infantry RCACC The Royal Canadian Army Cadets appeal to teenagers (12-18) craving exciting outdoor activities where It disbanded 11 Jan 1951.

62 Hamilton Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps was originally formed 8 Mar 1900, and affiliated with the 13th Regiment, later with R Hamilton Regiment May 12, 1922. This corps was formed 28 Feb 50 and known as 2379 Royal Hamilton Light Infantry Cadet Corps. It is affiliated and sponsored by the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. On 30 Oct 1989, 2379 requested that the Corps be allocated No 62 in order t

o perpetuate the history of No 62. (The number 2379 was then allocated to a new corps formed in Burlington in 1991.)

For those who were issued a dress uniform for the Change of Command tomorrow and the ACR next weekend, please remember to SEW your badges on. Do NOT use any kind of fabric glue, as it will permanently damage the uniforms. Please also follow the guidelines.

Good morning 62.

For all Cadets attending the Change of Command Ceremony this weekend, the timings for both days are 0830–1500 hrs.

Dress for Saturday's rehearsal will be FTUs.

Dress for Sunday's ceremony will be Ceremonial Dress Uniform C1A.

The location is John Weir Foote Armoury.

Cadets who have not yet signed up but are considering representing the Corps at this event are encouraged to attend, as increased participation is strongly welcomed.
