It was a great day.

It was a true privilege to join the Sudbury Arts Council’s 50th anniversary celebration. This event sparked excitement about the plans for a bilingual coffee table book that will spotlight 50 remarkable people who have shaped our arts community since the 70s to today.

This project shines a spotlight on the powerful influence of creators in film, dance, music, visual arts, and writing over the past fifty-plus years. We were surrounded by so much talent, history, and appreciation for what makes Greater Sudbury’s cultural community truly unique.

I am eager to see these inspiring artists shine in the upcoming book. Heartfelt thanks to the Sudbury Arts Council - Conseil des arts de Sudbury and congratulations on half a century of championing our local artists!
