We are an online (for now) community where we come together and take care of one another like a village so no one gets left behind any longer. We are a place where everyone in our beautiful city can come together and contribute, in whatever form they are able to, as well as receive assistance from anyone who is in a position to do so. Well, look no further! Have you recently bought some new furnit
ure and would like to give the old one away to someone in need? Post it here and help someone sit or even sleep a little more comfortable tonight. Are you in need of something like clothing or food? Let us know and someone can gather up a care package and drop it off on your doorstep so you have something in your belly. Do you have a skill you would like to offer others like sewing, housecleaning, haircuts, handyman services, etc.? Provide us with the details and let the sharing commence. It has been a rough go of it for so many financially, especially with recent events. Far too many of us cannot afford even the basic necessities of life, let alone a little something extra to brighten up their days. Many of us have so many things cluttering up our space, collecting dust that others could use, why not pay them forward when we no longer have use of them so others can enjoy them like you once did? We here at Nickel City Hub want to bring a sense of community back to our City, and provide everyone a place where we can unite and become like the family we used to be once upon a time. Our goal with the Hub is to provide everyone a space where they can feel welcomed, accepted, and most of all, know just how very much they are loved and valued. Nickel City Hub is more than just a gathering place, it is a Home for anyone in need of one. When making or responding to posts, please remember your manners. We never know what someone is going through, what has led them to the point in their life where they have to ask for assistance. Asking for help is one of the hardest, oftentimes humiliating, experiences we go through in life, so please remember the old saying: If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all. We all walk different paths, we all live, think and feel differently, and that is a beautiful, amazing thing. We celebrate diversity and the freedom to be who you are here, along with holding a strong belief that we are all one big Ohana. Not to just our space, but to all of yours as well. Let’s get together, unite as a community, and make one another’s lives just a little bit brighter each and every day. Cindy & Angie
