Canadian Parents for French Alberta & NWT is excited to invite you and your families to our annual Camping en français event. This is a fun-filled French-language camping weekend designed to promote and celebrate bilingualism!

This immersive weekend is a fantastic opportunity for French-second-language learners and their families to connect, play, and practice French in a relaxed and supportive environment. Activities include:
French programming and activities for youth;

Outdoor adventures;

Family-friendly entertainment;

A full catered meal;

Community campfires, and more!

A tour of CBC Radio Canada;

Whether your children are in French Immersion, Core French, Francophone programming, or new to French, Camping en français is an excellent way to keep the language alive over the summer and build lifelong bilingual memories and friendships.

Do you have a Grade 12 student graduating this year?

We are excited to announce that the Canadian Parents for French (CPF) Grande Prairie Chapter is offering two $500 bursaries to deserving graduating students.

These bursaries are intended to recognize students who have demonstrated a commitment to French Immersion or French Second Language education and who have shown an appreciation for French language and culture throughout their educational journey.

Bursary Details:
• Two bursaries valued at $500 each
• Open to Grade 12 graduating students
• Applicants should demonstrate involvement and commitment to French language learning and culture

We encourage all eligible graduating students to apply and share how their French education has impacted their academic, personal, and future goals.

Application details, eligibility requirements, and submission deadlines can be found attached and are due July 3, 2026.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our graduating students and wish all applicants the very best of luck!
