The 2-Week Countdown Is On! 🐾

We’re just TWO WEEKS away from the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides on Sunday, May 31 β€” and there’s still time for YOU to get involved and make a meaningful impact for Canadians living with disabilities.

Did you know? It costs $35,000 to train a single Dog Guide, but thanks to generous supporters like you, these life-changing partners are provided at no cost to the people who need them most.

Here’s how you can help us get ready for Walk day:
βœ” Register for your local Walk β€” walkfordogguides.com
βœ” Help spread the word using our posters & resources: walkfordogguides.com/resources
βœ” Donate and support our national goal

Let’s come together as a community and walk with purpose β€” for independence, for inclusion, for brighter futures. πŸ•πŸ’™

🐢 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL GUIDE DOG DAY!!! πŸ•

Today, we celebrate the incredible impact of Guide Dogs – also known as Canine Vision Dog Guides – around the world.

These remarkable dogs do more than guide. They provide independence, confidence, and safety to Canadians who are blind or visually impaired. But behind every Dog Guide is a community – partners, trainers, volunteers, foster families, and donors – who make that independence possible.

Walk or donate to the Georgetown Walk For Dog Guides! The walk takes place May 31st, 9am at Cedarvale Park!

At our club meeting last night, we were visited by Keisha Lawrence and Lisa Schoonderbeek from William Osler Health System Foundation.

Keisha and Lisa provided us with an update on the new hospital being built in Brampton that will create 250 new beds and expand services to surrounding communities.

Our club has been donating to William Osler Health System Foundation since 1958! Last night we were pleased to present them with a contribution toward their building goals. With Keisha and Lisa is our President Louie Violo.

Thank you for all your great work Keisha, Lisa and William Osler!
