The TeamUP Science’s 2026 Engineering Workshop (EW) is an in-person event taking place in ETLC over two days on March 7 and 8, 2026. On March 7, the workshop will be held from 9:00 - 16:15 and on March 8, from 9:00 - 15:00. EW 2026 is designed to provide high school students an introduction to engineering, through various technical challenges and projects, as well as engaging information sessions on what to expect in engineering at the University of Alberta. A combination of interactive activities and discussions with engineering students will be dispersed across the two-day event. Activities will be hosted by TeamUP Science as well as in partnership with other external groups in engineering.

Meet our Executive Director of the Interdisciplinary Science Competition (ISC), Tiffany !

Tiffany is a third-year Neuroscience student at the University of Alberta and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Interdisciplinary Science Competition (ISC). Since joining TeamUP Science in 2023, she has contributed to ISC as the Director of Central Case for two years. She has also supported Outreach and External Relations as a Rural Mandate Director and previously served as the Director-at-Large for the University of Alberta’s North Campus. Outside of TeamUP Science, Tiffany is actively involved in the local community as a member of the City of Edmonton Youth Council and the Air Cadet program. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out and volunteering in the community. Tiffany is excited to continue her work with TeamUP Science and is passionate about helping students explore university-level science and discover new opportunities in STEM.

Meet our VP YISC, Ethan!

Ethan is in his 4th year of Biological Sciences while minoring in Chemistry at the UofA. This is his 3rd year working with TeamUp and YSIC, and he is excited to be back and improving YSIC to be more fun than the years before! In his free time you’d find Ethan reading in his chair with a mug of tea, playing games, or finding any reason to run away to the mountains. He loves working with TeamUp and can’t wait to help the events succeed this year!
