The North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) UAlberta Chapter is excited to promote Nuclear 101, an upcoming workshop hosted by the Subsurface Energy Research Group (SERG) at the University of Alberta.
This session will feature Dr. M.A. (Aamir) Aamir from Capital Power – OPG, who will provide insights into Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and their potential role in Alberta’s energy landscape.
Additionally, the event will introduce DeepSAFE, a new research initiative at UAlberta focused on nuclear waste management, supported by Future Energy Systems, SRIF, and CEMP-CP.
