Echelon Wellness, together with our Veteran Family, attended the announcement by The Honourable Minister Jill McKnight at the Veteran’s Village in Kingston to support our community partner the Homes For Heroes Foundation. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Federal Government and the Minister for their transformative support for Homes for Heroes.

Veteran Mental Health and Homelessness remains a huge challenge for the community. Homes for Heroes uplifts Veterans transitioning from homelessness to stable, thriving lives.

Echelon is proud to stand in solidarity of this partnership, which champions the well-being of our Veteran heroes.

Our bodies may be buried, but our names don’t have to be.

This week, we uncovered the name of a veteran spouse, a reminder that those who stand beside service members also serve.

Over 1,200 grave markers have been cleaned this year through Operation Restoration. Our volunteers are taking it further: grooming trees, raking and scraping away years of dirt that had built up around the headstones.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out today, and Echelon Wellness for supplying tools, water, and other resources that made this possible.

Our next event will be a winter cleanup the week before Remembrance Day, when we’ll clear snow so families and citizens can have clear access to the grave markers and cenotaph.

We’re getting together on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Beechmount Cemetery (12420 104 St NW, Edmonton) from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM to clean veteran grave markers, and we’d love for you to join us.

Operation Restoration has been doing this since 2020, and it’s one of the most rewarding ways to spend a morning. All the supplies are provided—you just need to show up, lend a hand, and help make sure our veterans’ names are never forgotten.

It’s amazing how much of a difference a little time and elbow grease can make. You can come by yourself, bring a friend, or make it a family thing. Everyone’s welcome.

No need to register—just come on out!
If you’d like to be kept in the loop for future events, email [email protected] and we’ll add you to our distribution list.

Restored. Remembered. Respected.

On Saturday, July 12, we came together at St. Joachim’s Cemetery in Edmonton for another powerful Operation Restoration event — and it was nothing short of inspiring.

To every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to clean and restore the headstones of Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP veterans: thank you. Your hands-on work honored those who served and reminded us all of the importance of remembrance through action.

We’re grateful to each of you who showed up, supported, and helped make this possible. A special thank you to Echelon Wellness who provided the supplies to make this happen.

One headstone at a time — we restore and remember.

🇨🇦 Operation Restoration Update – Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery Cleanup 🇨🇦

On June 20, 2025, a small but dedicated group of 8 volunteers gathered to conduct a serviceability check of our equipment and clean approximately 100 veteran headstones at Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery. These included both CAF and RCMP veterans.

We’re proud to report the event was a success—and we’re now ready to resume larger-scale events this season!
