Hi everyone! Thank you for following along on our progress and success over the last few months. We are always expanding our efforts to help more and more moms and children in the community! But with that said we are lacking volunteer support. If you are looking to give a helping hand to the community, please reach out to us.

❣️We are currently looking for volunteers to do basic food running to local families. This would include driving to pick up food hampers and drop them off

❣️Food storage locations : houses that don’t mind storing non perishable food hampers, and occasionally dropping them off to moms in need. The goal is to have food storage in every area of town to create easier food access and driving time.

❣️Volunteers to help out with our next bottle drive!

❣️And lastly additional volunteers needed for organizing and sorting out household items/clothing.

🌱🌻 VOLUNTEER GARDENERS NEEDED! 🌻🌱

We need your help please!

Our community garden, a partnership between Nourish Cowichan, No Worries Moms, and Healthiest Babies Possible, is looking for volunteers to help us get our garden thriving.

Whether you have a green thumb or simply enjoy being outdoors, we’d love to have you join us. Even an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference.

🌿 We could use a hand with:
🌼 Planting flowers and vegetables
🌿 Weeding garden beds
🌼 General garden maintenance
🌿 Tidying garden beds and pathways

This garden provides fresh food, beautiful flowers, and a welcoming space for families in our community. Every helping hand allows us to continue supporting those who need us most.

If you have some time to spare, we would be so incredibly grateful for your help. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of something special.

From all of us at No Worries Moms, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to MAD Eats Food Cart and everyone who came out to support their anniversary. Turning a celebration into an opportunity to give back, speaks volumes about the kind of person you are Max ♥️. Your generosity, kindness and support will directly help families in our community who are struggling and in need of emergency food support. We truly live in an incredible community. 

We are very grateful to have been chosen as one of the organizations to receive this wonderful gift of $500.00. Community support like this is what allows us to continue helping moms and children throughout the Cowichan Valley.

Congratulations on 10 amazing years in business and thank you again for thinking of No Worries Moms. We appreciate you more than words can say.

🌻 Mother’s Day Basket Donations Needed 🌻

With Mother’s Day coming up, we’re putting together some special gift baskets for a few of our moms who could really use a little extra love and kindness.

We’re looking for donations to help us fill these baskets, such as:
• Gift cards (grocery, gas, coffee, etc.)
• Flowers
• Bath and self care items
• Chocolates or treats
• Anything that would help us create thoughtful Mother’s Day baskets

These baskets are a small way to remind moms that they are seen, appreciated, and cared for.

If you’d like to donate, please reach out to Leanne Cotterill to arrange drop off. Every contribution helps us make Mother’s Day a little brighter for local moms. 💛

Urgent Donation Call Out 📣📣📣

Please we are in desperate need of food donations right now. Our shelves are running very low and we are working hard to keep up with the growing need in our community.

If you’re able to help, please consider dropping off food at one of our donation bins, or reach out to us if you have fridge or freezer items to donate.

All items must be before their best before date, please and thank you.

This is a very urgent call out to our supporters. Every single donation makes a difference and helps us make sure moms and kids don’t go without food.

Our team member Kelly is doing a wonderful fundraiser for us!

I will be running a fundraiser this weekend only for No Worries Moms!!!

This weekend any pies preordered will have a portion of proceeds donated to No Worries Moms to help families in the Cowichan Valley who are struggling to put food on their tables!

All other Easter items are available for order still!

Pickup will be in Crofton, Lake Cowichan and Duncan!
