The Dartmouth Grannies is a part of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign and the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

We support grandmothers across sub-Saharan Africa as they care for children orphaned by AIDS.

As the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign mourns the loss of founder Stephen Lewis, the Rockingham Grannies invite you to Stories of Perseverance and Transformation hosted by the Storytellers Circle of Halifax in partnership with the Helen Creighton Folklore Society.

When? Thursday, April 23, 2026 fr4om 1:00 to 3:30 pm
Where? Hillside United Church, 12 Flamingo Dr., Halifax
Admission: $20 in advance, $25 at the door

All proceeds go to the The Stephen Lewis Foundation, which supports community organizations with grandmothers who raise children orphaned by AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. Their goal is to end AIDS in Africa.

Where? Woodlawn United Church, 54 Woodlawn Rd., Dartmouth
