URGENT REHOMING SITUATION ‼️ please share
NOVA SCOTIA
Must be German shepherd experienced
(Courtesy Posting) )

KODA is a 5 neutered male German Shepherd. He is a puppy at heart he is very playful, loves tug-of-war, gutting his stuffies and chasing a squeaky tennis ball. After playing he wants to crash and have all the cuddles, he’ll be vocal and let you know when he’s ready for the pets to stop. He loves all people, he greats every person like his new best friend. He can be very energetic and not realize his own size trying to tackle someone to say hi at the door. We have worked on him staying on all 4 paws but he sometimes gets ahead of himself.

He has unfortunately been attacked multiple times on our walks by unleashed dogs causing to him to have fear aggression towards other animals and people while on walks.

We have been working with koda on leash training and he has been progressing well.

Koda loves to play and be outside but also knows how to be lazy with his people.

Koda is up to date on his shots newly neutered and we have done some work in training him with commands. He really is so smart, sweet and has an eagerness to learn

Koda would work best with a family with no small children as he still learning his own size , though he is very friendly with children in the home.
Koda has a high prey drive and will chase after cats though we have worked on desensitizing him with scents and sound.

Prior to koda being attacked on walks he was very friendly and playful towards other dogs and we believe with slow introductions and training he may be able to homes with other dogs.

🚨 IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED: RIVER 🚨

We are on a time crunch and need an amazing person to foster River, a 3.5-year-old female German Shepherd (60 lbs), ASAP! River is affectionate, loyal, and intelligent, and she loves spending time with her people. She is great with children (may jump when excited), has lived with other dogs, cats and livestock, and would thrive in a calm, structured home with patient guidance.

River is housetrained, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, come, and heel. She responds best to positive reinforcement, daily exercise, mental enrichment, and ongoing structure to help her flourish.

This smart, devoted girl would do best in a quieter home with slow, controlled introductions to new people and pets. With the right foster family, River will have the support she needs to reach her full potential and prepare for her forever home.

💖 If you think you can help, please reach out today so we can give this beautiful girl the chance to start her next chapter in life. Submit a foster application at shaidanimalshelter.com and email [email protected] with any questions.

📢 Please share this post to help River find her foster family!

Mekhi is a stunning, high-drive German Shepherd who needs a specific, experienced environment to succeed. While he is an affectionate dog with those he trusts, he has developed significant territorial aggression and has a bite history.
🐾 The Highlights
• The Good Stuff: Excellent house manners and highly socialized with other dogs. He loves swimming, tug-of-war, and "hide and seek" and is a world-class class snuggler
• Training: He has a solid foundation of obedience and has attended professional classes. He is eager to work and very smart.
• The Challenges: Mekhi has a high prey drive (no cats or small animals) and struggles with reactivity toward people entering his property.
⚠️ Critical Needs
Mekhi’s defensive behavior is escalating. He requires a handler who understands the nuances of working line breeds and is comfortable managing a dog with bite liability.
• No children or small pets.
• Strict management: Needs a home with a secure fence and a handler committed to using professional tools and structure.
• Rehabilitation: He needs someone who views training as a lifestyle, not a one-time fix.
Mekhi is a powerful, loyal dog who has simply become "too much dog" for a standard household. In the right hands—with someone who can provide the firm boundaries and mental "job" he craves—he will be a phenomenal companion

I have a 2 1/2 yr old Anatolia Shepherd intact male, I am looking to re-home him. He has zero aggression nor ‘urges’. My employment has changed and he does not get to live his best life!
He is a loving young man with a bit of a leash reactivity that we are working on.
He would thrive in a fenced in property or in an environment where he can utilize his natural instincts. He gets along with dogs of all sizes but doesn’t have experience with cats.
This breaks my heart but he needs more

““Meet Ositdes, a 3 year old energetic German shepherd looking to be rehomed to his forever home. I’m reluctantly having to rehome my precious boy as my living situation and his reactivity causes an issue. I’m looking for a very special type of person that would be able to take him as I don’t believe just anyone would be able to handle him. Ositdes is a very very smart boy who thrives on learning, going on adventures, and consistency. He does wear a muzzle when we go out thru town as he is reactive. It started with dogs when he was a puppy. He was attacked a couple times, while we were on a walk by unleashed dogs and his reactivity has developed towards people now as well.
He is not food motivated at all, he loves his toys and would do anything just to be able to jump at the trees all day.
He does warm up to people if they don’t show any fear and if they are willing to work with him and be patient. I’ve been able to get him comfortable with a couple of my friends, it took time and consistency ensuring no overreaction to him, it’s just hard finding someone who isn’t nervous. And he also does have two dog friends he plays with.
The ideal type of person would be, a house with a fenced backyard, no children, one or two adults WITH experience with reactive dogs, time to actually be able to put into his training, and just a calm patient understanding person with a love for his beautiful breed.

This is time sensitive and for this reason we will be looking to do a phone call with all applicants by February 20th. At this point if we deem one or more applicants to potentially be good fits with Ositdes we will reach out at this point to meet in person.”

If you think you might be a good fit please contact me for a phone interview 506-230-3894
