Pineridge Snowmobile Club was proud to support the Stephen Central Public school with a $500 donation to their fundraising campaign towards new playground equipment. Good luck in reaching your goal Tigers! Happy Easter everyone. We hope this inspires more donations from the public to keep smiles on kids faces during recess.

Absolutely awesome turnout for our BBQ yesterday, thank you everyone for the support, was great to see you. Beautiful weather and lots of sleds! Thanks to Cedar Villa, Hansen’s Groc, McCurdy Mfg, Rob Rau, Jackie and Mike Brannon for all the support! Thanks to all the club members, groomer operations crew and landowners that help make the network come alive. $250 PC gift card was won by Tyler Cox, 50/50 $$ was donated back to the club by Mike Brannon. Very grateful. We will keep you posted on shack happenings once the club has agreed on locations etc. Have a great remainder of Family Day Weekend.

Pineridge Snowmobile Club is planning for our first barbecue of the season Saturday Feb 14th at Dietrich’s shack on B108 from 11-6pm. We will be serving up Cedar Villa Farms Burgers and hotdogs. This will be by donation and proceeds will go towards our next generation snowmobile warm up shack. Hot Chocolate for the kiddies will be available. Come say hi and support our club in memory of Dennis and keep the spirit and sport of snowmobiling alive for years to come as he would have wanted. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and some new ones.
Cheers

Hello sled fanatics. Our club is needing help with a section of trail that has been re-instated onto the map again. Our B108 trail currently is staked but missing some signage. We are looking for someone to take over this trail from MacDonald road in Hay Swamp to Crediton road. This means pulling the trail in the spring, storing signs and re-installing each winter. We have someone who is willing to scout the path each winter until the new volunteer can take over fully. If we don’t get some help this trail is at risk. Please send us a message if you can be that person. Having a ATV or Side by side is definitely a bonus. Thanks much

Good morning
We have been able to open some trails up in our club. A lot of our trails have low snow and we have left them closed for landowner protection and rider safety. Parsons Shack on B111 between Kirkton and Mitchell has been boarded up not because of hardship or landowner issues, but because the raccoons and wildlife seem to have claimed for their own use. It’s in very poor shape from the damage they inflicted. Please stay on the marked trails! While snow is low in the west side of our club, folks have been out brushing trails and cleaning up after ice, rain and winds. Pray for more snow. Some pics of recent trails and work being done. Refer to ITG for trail status.

Merry Christmas from Pineridge Snowmobile Club. We are pleased to announce that our B108 trail from Hay Swamp, East of Dashwood past Dietrichs shack to Mount Carmel and the trail from Devils Elbow (Huron st/Parr) to Crediton is in the works to be reinstated this season. Over the last few weeks our dedicated volunteers have been working with landowner permissions and lining up the routes. We have also had a lot of offers to help stake it and take over portions of the B108 as the current volunteer is retiring from staking.
The staking for the rest of the club trails is 99% done (corn still standing) so we will be ready when Mother Nature sends us more snow. We appreciate our Volunteers, landowners, Groomer Operators, Southwestern Ontario Snowmobile Region leadership and staff, OFSC, and all you permit buyers that help fund our sport and wish you a Merry Christmas. See you on the snow. Always refer to ITG for trail status.
A few pics from this season so far before the melt.

I’m sure you are itching to get out on sleds, we all are. The club volunteers are hard at it trying to get all the staking done. This early snow makes for harder travels and staking since ATVs and Side by Sides are out of the question. We have the groomer fleet ready and a fresh new drag for the south machine. Please be patient, we are doing our best. Please refer to ITG for trail status. Trails are CLOSED still, just because it’s groomed doesn’t mean it’s open or safe to ride. Respect our volunteers and landowners and please let us finish our work. Winters off to a great starts, fingers crossed for another awesome season.

Thanks

‼️Breaking News - Full OFSC Trail Network To Be Restored Thanks to Historic $4.9M Investment by the Government of Ontario ‼️

The OFSC is thrilled to share great news for organized snowmobiling in Ontario. Thanks to a historic $4.9M investment by the Government of Ontario ($3.9M in new funding, $1M in infrastructure funding already allocated), Ontario’s snowmobile trail network can be restored in full for the 2025–26 season, as it was at the end of last season (30,000+KM). This investment reflects the importance of our system to communities, the economic impact of our trails, and the tremendous effort that has gone into ensuring snowmobiling remains a cornerstone of winter in this province. Looking beyond this season, this investment represents the first step in plans that will ensure the long-term sustainability of a trail network of this size in Ontario.

Over the next few weeks, Clubs will be hard at work doing trail prep, signage, pre-season maintenance on grooming equipment, and securing land use permissions. The OFSC Interactive Trail Guide will update in real-time as land-use permissions are secured for entire trail segments!

Snowmobiling in Ontario runs on three things: volunteers, landowners, and permit revenue. Contact your club to volunteer, respect our landowners, and buy a permit! Working together, the future of snowmobiling in Ontario is strong.

Good afternoon
We have received some requests about the 25/26 snowmobile trails in Pineridge. Pineridge trails will be very similar to the 24/25 season with the exception of the trail that goes from 5-48 to Mooresville that met up with the Science Hill Drifters at Hwy 4 North of Lucan. This 6.2km trail was cut to help meet the OFSC trail reduction mandate. See pic. Any other trails you are NOT seeing on the ITG is due to missing landowner forms that are yet to come in from the landowner/volunteer. ITG will not show the trail if all the permissions are not in place.
We still do NOT have clearance to cross the GEXR railways north and south of Exeter despite pushing for it for over a year. So, the re-routes will be like last season at this point.

We look forward to seeing you on our awesome trails!
