Dear Community Partners,
This year marks a very special milestone for Noah’s Ark as we celebrate 10 years of serving our community from our location at Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle.
What began as a thrift store ministry has grown into something far bigger than we could have imagined. Over the past decade, Noah’s Ark, our food hamper ministry, and the South Huron Connection Center have become places of hope, dignity, belonging, and practical support for countless individuals and families throughout our community.
Today, Noah’s Ark and the Connection Center serve hundreds of individuals and families each year through food hampers, community meals, clothing supports, hygiene supplies, housing and homelessness support, advocacy, outreach programs, and connections to essential community services. The Connection Center works closely with multiple local agencies to help individuals access mental health support, employment services, housing resources, identification assistance, and crisis supports. For many people, our space is more than a service location — it is a safe place to be seen, supported, encouraged, and connected to hope during difficult seasons of life.
To celebrate this milestone, we are planning a community anniversary event that will be completely free for families to attend. Our hope is to create a day filled with joy, connection, food, activities, and encouragement for the people who have supported us and the many families we have had the privilege of serving over the years.
We are currently looking for local businesses, organizations, and service groups who would be willing to partner with us through sponsorships or donations to help make this celebration possible.
Some of the event elements we are hoping to provide include:
• Bouncy castles and children’s activities
• Free food and refreshments
• Games and family entertainment
• Community booths and outreach opportunities
• Giveaways and activities for children and families
• Other free community-centered experiences throughout the day
As a ministry and community organization, we continue to see increasing needs within South Huron. This celebration is not only about marking 10 years — it is about reminding our community that hope, kindness, and support still exist and that we are stronger when we come together.
We are inviting sponsors and donors to partner with us through:
• Financial sponsorships
• Donations of food, drinks, supplies, or services
• Sponsorship of specific event elements or activities
• Volunteer involvement
• Promotional support and community awareness
All sponsors and community partners will be recognized and appreciated throughout the event promotion and celebration.
