Check out the Spring 2026 edition of CCU Connections Magazine, the official voice of the Confederation of Canadian Unions. This is the special issue on affordability and the price that working people are paying for near all time high corporate profit margins.

And this is the first issue that we’re printing. 2,500 copies will be made available at the CCU Labour School and Executive Board meeting taking place in Winnipeg from June 6 to 7. CCU affiliates will take hundreds of hard copies back to their communities.

Fellow CMAW Members- With raiding season approaching in July and August, and the UBCJA International Carpenter’s Union (CRC) vowing to poach our members and contractors this year, please remember that the choice is clear.

• If you want to support and be represented by a humungous un-democratic American bureaucracy that uses your dues to buy 4 MILLION $$ homes for it’s $350,000/ year officers, then choose the UBCJA/CRC!

• If you prefer to be represented by a democratic, 100% Canadian Union that fights for worker’s rights, then make sure to tell them to go back to America!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Local CMAW rep for more information on the UBCJA raiding process.
