Get ready those who moved to Campbell River from September 2025 to now you’re in for a real surprise.
If you’re wondering why there are logs laying in a park across from Tim Hortons in Willow Point it’s because
Transformations on the Shore Chainsaw Carving Competition is coming to Frank James Park in Willow Point June 24th- 28th.
It’s Shoreline ARTS 30th Anniversary so be sure to watch, participate and vote on your favourite.
It’s one of my favourite events that happens here. I love the transformation that happens in 4 short days!
These logs represent a canvas and over 4 days become a beautiful piece of art!
I’m excited for the artists and our community.

Raising funds to help those in South Africa.

“Listen to the grandmothers.”

This is the advice Thenjiwe Sheila Gubuza wants to share with the Stephen Lewis Foundation community. As a member of Grandmothers Against Poverty and AIDS (GAPA) in South Africa, she knows firsthand how grandmothers understand the needs of their families and communities.

Through GAPA, 600 grandmothers regularly come together to share challenges, access support, and care for one another. Their impact reaches across generations, creating safe spaces where children can enjoy a healthy meal, learn and play.
