🌟 We’re Hiring: Executive Director 🌟
For more than 30 years, the Campbell River Beacon Club has been Lighting the Way to Mental Wellness, offering a safe, welcoming, stigma-free place where adults living with serious mental illness can build connection, confidence and independence.
Now we’re looking for our next Executive Director to lead the Club into its next chapter.
About the role:
📍 Campbell River
🕒 up to 30 hours/week (Tues–Thurs 9am-3pm, plus 6 hours admin time during club hours)
💲 $40.76/hour
🌱 Professional development allowance and Health & Wellness Spending Account
We’re looking for someone who:
✔️ Has experience in non-profit leadership, mental health or social services
✔️ Believes in recovery and psychosocial rehabilitation principles
✔️ Brings skills in staff supervision, budgeting, fund development and grant writing
✔️ Leads with compassion and creates a positive space for Members, staff, volunteers and the Board

Nourishing Wellness, One Meal at a Time

The Campbell River Beacon Club is a safe, welcoming, stigma-free place for adults living with mental illness and substance use challenges. Every weekday, our members come together for peer support, life-skills learning, creativity, connection, and a nutritious lunch shared around the table.

For many of our members, that lunch is about more than food. It's a moment of dignity, stability, and belonging. 💚

Our numbers have been increasing the last few months and you can directly help us supply a meal.

🥪 $5 provides a meal
🎄 $10 provides a Holiday Dinner
🥗 $25 provides lunch for a member for a week
🍎 $100 provides a member lunches for a month
